Detailed note on Corporate Experience
~20 years of Sales leadership, Enterprise relationship & risk management, Asset Management, Corporate Venture growth and hyperscale experience with a strong forte in building CXO relationship, cross-border team management, anchored across APAC & EMEA Corporates, MNCs clients and various Banks and Financial Institutions.
At present, I am Heading Global Originations for one of the asset strategies for Jefferies Group (NYSE Listed, Investment Grade with >$48Bn Assets Under Management). I am leading a team of Managing Directors and Directors across UK and Middle East and manage the P&L and a multi-billion AUM for a focussed Short-term Performing Credit strategy fund (one of the private credit strategies within Jefferies).
Prior to this, I was working as Senior Director APAC Sales and Origination with Greensill Capital – UKs fintech with investment from Softbank and General Atlantic and leading the APAC Origination efforts on Enterprise Sales front. Before this, I was working as Director APAC, Asia Sales Coverage with UK HQ US$5 Bn Falcon Group and covering SEA markets viz Singapore, India, Malaysia, Philippines and Hong Kong. The firm is a specialist financier in the domain of Consignment inventory and trade finance and my role was to build capability & client connects in Supply Chain Finance for the firm.
I have been in Enterprise origination managing large & complex solution based selling and bundled financing solutions.
Prior to Greensill, I had spent close to a decade with DBS Bank and handled various leadership roles for the organization. The breadth of experience is mostly on client facing roles that included Product Lead for Supply Chain Finance, Regional lead for Western MNC, Head Mid-market West India business, Head Priority Sector Lending and handled 2 regional branches and Team Leader for Corporate Banking. Prior to DBS Bank, I was working with Ernst & Young, India in the Risk Consulting domain and ICICI Bank in Transaction Banking (Trade) space.
Post completion of Executive MBA (with distinction) from INSEAD in 2016 and with the stated experience, I am consciously driving my career into Transaction Banking Domain. Further, I have also completed in-country MBA from ICFAI Business School (India) and earned my CFA (India) in 2007.
